Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damon Lehman kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Landon Nugent dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aaron Vogt, 1-0. Aaron Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Holt in the 9th minute of play. Desmond Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jason Kauffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Landon Nugent charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Landon Nugent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Germantown's Landon Nugent got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Damon Lehman came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Johnson Lane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Lehman couldn't finish the play. Aaron Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Holt in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Landon Nugent got free with Aaron Vogt in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Johnson Lane's Marquis Bynum got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes Germantown got a freekick which was hit by Domenic McKinnon. After having played for 37 minutes, Mervin Shipley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germantown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mervin Shipley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnson Lane's Taylor Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Virgil Holt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Vogt. Johnson Lane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgil Holt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgil Holt was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Germantown's goalkeeper Jason Kauffman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taylor Rivas. Aaron Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Landon Nugent, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Holt in the 55th minute of play forced Johnson Lane's goalkeeper Aaron Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Virgil Holt notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Johnson Lane's Aaron Vogt. Aaron Vogt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damon Lehman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes, Germantown's Virgil Holt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Vogt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germantown reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domenic McKinnon during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Taylor Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Kauffman having to interfere. Damon Lehman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes of play Germantown's Landon Nugent was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Landon Nugent kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Rob Nunn's late challenge caught a Germantown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Nunn helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Johnson Lane got a freekick which was hit by Rob Nunn. In the 84th minute, Damon Lehman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes in the game Domenic McKinnon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Virgil Holt. When Virgil Holt came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Germantown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Holt couldn't finish the play. Aaron Vogt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervin Shipley in the 91st minute of the match. Germantown's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
