Stevie Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Claudio Engel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott McCoy got free with Claudio Engel in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13thth minute of the game Stevie Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCU Torreense's Claudio Engel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Flint Corley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ollie Esposito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stevie Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flint Corley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakim Belloumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Claudio Engel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. South Weber AFC's Ollie Esposito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flint Corley in the 28th minute of play. Claudio Engel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 35th play minute Hakim Belloumi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claudio Engel. 2-1. Hakim Belloumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Engel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie Thomas in the 40th minute of play forced SCU Torreense's goalkeeper Claudio Engel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in South Weber AFC's zone, Richie Carver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Esposito came out of the goal and Richie Carver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stevie Thomas was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, South Weber AFC's Ollie Esposito got control of the ball when Osvaldo Burrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ollie Esposito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flint Corley went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Todd Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Engel having to interfere. Claudio Engel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
