In the 9th minute of the game Randell Corbett made a throw-in which Rich Cegielski played forward. 12 minutes into the match, Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Miles came free, but Johnathan Stubbs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Donovan Ingram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mervin North made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted McCall in the 16th minute of play. Stephen Sykes got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Brendan Jolly. Ted McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mervin North tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emmanuel Finch came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Finch couldn't finish the play. Napoleon Rivers charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Napoleon Rivers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC booed when Stowe Township was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Rivers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Finchs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Mervin North to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With splendid footwork Ted McCall arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Stowe Township got a freekick which was hit by Roosevelt Russo. Emmanuel Finch who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Mervin North when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ted McCall was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ted McCall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ted McCall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted McCall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mervin North breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stowe Township's Mervin North played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Finch in the 62nd minute of play. Stephen Sykes made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stowe Township's Xavier Miles. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Xavier Miles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowe Township's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Miles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mervin North took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Finch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC booed when Stowe Township was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Randell Corbett in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC's Stephen Sykes. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tallahassee‎ Yesterday FC had played much better football throughout.
