After a rather tough play, SCU Torreense's Richie Carver got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Sawgrass getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Louis Lin hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes SCU Torreense got a freekick which was hit by Richie Carver. In the 17th minute Rory Bryant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duane Carbajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Hawley scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Engel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flint Corley hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Hawley in the 35th minute of play forced SCU Torreense's goalkeeper Claudio Engel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sawgrass's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Bryant came free, but Duane Carbajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 58th minute, Richie Carver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duane Carbajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Bryant in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Sawgrass's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Carver came free, but Duane Carbajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Bryant in the 77th minute of play forced Sawgrass's goalkeeper Duane Carbajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sawgrass's Walter Hawley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Engel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Sawgrass left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SCU Torreense.
