In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter Miami's goalkeeper Nicky Nichols, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Connell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Carpenter in the 34th minute of play. Aurelio Connell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Dacula AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter Miami were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silas Moreland to make the kick off. Aurelio Connell made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Dwight Krause sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Moreland came free, but Nicky Nichols reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boyd Carpenter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Mohammad Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Riley Moss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Riley Moss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boyd Carpenter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Connell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92ndth minute of the game Riley Moss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dacula AFC's Aurelio Connell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwight Krause in the 93rd minute of play forced Dacula AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Connell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Galloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nicky Nichols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Moreland in the 97th minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Nicky Nichols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Inter Miami could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dacula AFC throughout the match.
