Boyd Carpenter scored 1-0 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ollie Esposito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Todd Chen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, South Weber AFC's Hakim Belloumi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicky Nichols made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ollie Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwight Krause in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, South Weber AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Moss came free, but Ollie Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boyd Carpenter got free with Ollie Esposito in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, South Weber AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Moss came free, but Ollie Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ollie Esposito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Moss in the 20th minute of the match. Nicky Nichols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakim Belloumi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nicky Nichols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevie Thomas in the 24th minute of play. Inter Miami's Nicky Nichols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Belloumi in the 25th minute of play. Nicky Nichols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakim Belloumi in the 26th minute of the match. Ollie Esposito was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Boyd Carpenter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boyd Carpenter really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 31 minutes into the game, Riley Moss recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ollie Esposito. Riley Moss showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Ollie Esposito was a little too slow when Bennett Petersen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Travis Bates during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Inter Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Travis Bates to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie Thomas in the 46th minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Nicky Nichols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Riley Moss made a kick off. Ollie Esposito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Moss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes of play, Inter Miami's Boyd Carpenter made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Esposito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Riley Moss took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ollie Esposito. Ollie Esposito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Riley Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, South Weber AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Moss came free, but Ollie Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Carpenter in the 64th minute of play forced South Weber AFC's goalkeeper Ollie Esposito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Boyd Carpenter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ollie Esposito was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Ollie Esposito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley Moss in the 90th minute of play. Inter Miami's Dwight Krause suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 90 minutes, Elliott McCoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the South Weber AFC and the Inter Miami players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inter Miami made a substitution. Dane Starnes replaced Dwight Krause. Elliott McCoy hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Boyd Carpenter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Esposito having to interfere.
