Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Simon Pate made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Miami Springs defense, Landon Nugent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Burgess. The Miami Springs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Burgess should have stopped the shot. In the 6th minute, Alejandro Townsend reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Burgess. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 9th minute Landon Nugent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Holt in the 10th minute of play forced Miami Springs's goalkeeper Tomas Burgess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Lay took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Kauffman. Jason Kauffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 17th minute, Germantown's Virgil Holt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Tomas Burgess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Townsend in the 19th minute of play. When Simon Pate fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miami Springs's protests and gave Simon Pate a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Simon Pate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mervin Shipley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tomas Burgess made a huge save. With a little luck, Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess got control of the ball when Mervin Shipley tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Germantown's Landon Nugent slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomas Burgess. That made the score 4-1 after 29 minutes of play. Tomas Burgess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Pate in the 37th minute of play forced Germantown's goalkeeper Jason Kauffman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Mervin Shipley took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Tomas Burgess to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgil Holt was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Mervin Shipley came free, but Tomas Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Nugent in the 53rd minute of play forced Miami Springs's goalkeeper Tomas Burgess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Miami Springs's Claude Lay got a free kick in the 56th minute. Claude Lay kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Alejandro Townsend ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Burgess was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. After a rather tough play, Miami Springs's Douglas Dawkins got a free kick in the 67th minute. Simon Pate received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jason Kauffman came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Pate slotted it home off the left post making it 6-2 in the 69th minute. Tomas Burgess showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervin Shipley in the 73rd minute of the match. Tomas Burgess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Townsend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Mervin Shipley came free, but Tomas Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Landon Nugent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Germantown got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Townsend. Claude Lay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Jason Kauffman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Holt came free, but Tomas Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Burgess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Landon Nugent, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Germantown walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
