Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavier Miles started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Marshall Stoner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mervin North saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Mosley's late challenge caught a Sawgrass's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Mosley helped the player get up and apologised. Walter Hawley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Miles in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duane Carbajal saved Sawgrass from getting behind. A collision led to Stowe Township getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Napoleon Rivers hit a great ball. Xavier Miles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duane Carbajal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Louis Lin made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stowe Township's Willie Jensen. With an all-out effort, Sawgrass's Mervin North threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marshall Stoner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mervin North showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Stoner in the 32nd minute of the match. Mervin North took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Stoner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marshall Stoner came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sawgrass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marshall Stoner couldn't finish the play. Stowe Township's Xavier Miles got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Walter Hawley made the kick off in the second half. Donovan Ingram hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Xavier Miles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stowe Township's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Miles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duane Carbajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Napoleon Rivers during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Cristobal Mosley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Marshall Stoner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mervin North saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Walter Hawley notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stowe Township's Mervin North. Mervin North was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Xavier Miles came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Stowe Township fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Miles couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Sawgrass getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Heriberto Alston hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stowe Township's zone, Marshall Stoner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mervin North came out of the goal and Marshall Stoner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mervin North made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Hawley in the 87th minute of play. Cristobal Mosley hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Xavier Miles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Sawgrass were the better team. Sawgrass's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
