Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Natchez AFC's Jason Kauffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Carpenter in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Natchez AFC defense, Riley Moss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jason Kauffman. The Natchez AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jason Kauffman should have stopped the shot. Dwight Krause took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jason Kauffman. Natchez AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mervin Shipleys short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Nicky Nichols to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Inter Miami's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Landon Nugent scored to the left of an out of position Nicky Nichols, making the score, 1-1. Natchez AFC's Jason Kauffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Moss in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mervin Shipley in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicky Nichols prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Inter Miami's Boyd Carpenter in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Natchez AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute Boyd Carpenter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Kauffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicky Nichols made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Mervin Shipley sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Riley Moss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jason Kauffman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jason Kauffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Carpenter in the 33rd minute of play. Riley Moss took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Kauffman. Jason Kauffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Jason Kauffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Moss in the 45th minute of the match. Inter Miami's Nicky Nichols proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami from getting a goal against them. After the first half Inter Miami were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Riley Moss made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Natchez AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenic McKinnon to maneuver through the defense. Boyd Carpenter struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jason Kauffman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami. 54 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Landon Nugent came free, but Nicky Nichols reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicky Nichols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mervin Shipley in the 55th minute of the match. If Dwight Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicky Nichols didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Townsend went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Nicky Nichols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Landon Nugent in the 78th minute of the match. Natchez AFC's Jason Kauffman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Natchez AFC from getting a goal against them. Nicky Nichols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Landon Nugent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Virgil Holt notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Inter Miami's Nicky Nichols. Nicky Nichols was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dwight Krause hit a great ball. If Virgil Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natchez AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Inter Miami for a fine match.
