The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Douglas Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miami Springs's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Dawkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haimon Moraitopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Ditalent.F.C.'s Deng Zheng Ke ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Antonio Platt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Burgess. Miami Springs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Platt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Miami Springs booed when Ditalent.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Bliss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Miami Springs from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Miami Springs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Lay to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Marcellus Cox came free, but Tomas Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Burgess didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Platt went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Platt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tomas Burgess made a huge save. Tomas Burgess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Zheng Ke in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Deng Zheng Ke notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess. Tomas Burgess was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deng Zheng Ke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Tomas Burgess made a huge save. Werner Blevins charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Werner Blevins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Werner Blevins kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Miami Springs's Tomas Burgess got control of the ball when Deng Zheng Ke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Burgess came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Ditalent.F.C.'s Deng Zheng Ke. But to his dismay, Deng Zheng Ke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deng Zheng Ke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Simon Pate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Miami Springs's Claude Lay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haimon Moraitopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ditalent.F.C. booed when Miami Springs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Burgess prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute Deng Zheng Ke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Burgess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Miami Springs defense, Deng Zheng Ke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Burgess. The Miami Springs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Burgess should have stopped the shot. After 80 played minutes Ditalent.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Deng Zheng Ke. 89 minutes into the match, Deng Zheng Ke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Burgess. Miami Springs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deng Zheng Ke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
