Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damon Lehman took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Johnson Lane got a freekick which was hit by Desmond Garcia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Nugent in the 4th minute of play forced Johnson Lane's goalkeeper Aaron Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Johnson Lane getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Taylor Rivas hit a great ball. Johnson Lane's Aaron Vogt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Landon Nugent in the 17th minute of play. Mervin Shipley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Vogt having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Landon Nugent left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Natchez AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Johnson Lane's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Townsend came free, but Aaron Vogt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Landon Nugent struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Aaron Vogt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Natchez AFC. Alejandro Townsend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mervin Shipley was the one to do the kick off. Aaron Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenic McKinnon in the 54th minute of play. Mervin Shipley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Aaron Vogt made a huge save. A collision led to Johnson Lane getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Taylor Rivas hit a great ball. Landon Nugent in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aaron Vogt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Damon Lehman kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Landon Nugent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aaron Vogt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenic McKinnon made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Landon Nugent immediately put the ball in play. Alejandro Townsend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mervin Shipley charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mervin Shipley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mervin Shipley hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Taylor Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Natchez AFC's Aaron Vogt threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Landon Nugent, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Natchez AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
