Jason Kauffman came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tallahassee Yesterday FC's Emmanuel Finch. But to his dismay, Emmanuel Finch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Natchez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Finch came free, but Jason Kauffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Natchez AFC's Jason Kauffman got control of the ball when Emmanuel Finch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Ted McCall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jason Kauffman. Ted McCall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Jason Kauffman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Finch's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Johnathan Stubbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Landon Nugent, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Landon Nugent made a precise shot to the right of Johnathan Stubbs. Tallahassee Yesterday FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mervin Shipley in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnathan Stubbs saved Tallahassee Yesterday FC from getting behind. Ted McCall struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Jason Kauffman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tallahassee Yesterday FC. Johnathan Stubbs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Finch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jason Kauffman made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted McCall to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Finch notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Natchez AFC's Jason Kauffman. Jason Kauffman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tallahassee Yesterday FC's Johnathan Stubbs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tallahassee Yesterday FC from getting a goal against them. Emmanuel Finch kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tallahassee Yesterday FC made a substitution. Nathaniel Kincaid replaced Brendan Jolly. The supporters of Natchez AFC booed when Tallahassee Yesterday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Finch didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Natchez AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Domenic McKinnon hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Tallahassee Yesterday FC got a freekick which was hit by Micah Kellogg. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Landon Nugent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natchez AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Landon Nugent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnathan Stubbs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Landon Nugent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnathan Stubbs. Tallahassee Yesterday FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Landon Nugent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Jason Kauffman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Finch went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute of the match, Landon Nugent tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnathan Stubbs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute Natchez AFC were awarded a corner. Virgil Holt went to the cornerflag to take it. Natchez AFC's Mervin Shipley was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Johnathan Stubbs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Natchez AFC's Mervin Shipley was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Tallahassee Yesterday FC's Johnathan Stubbs got control of the ball when Landon Nugent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ted McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jason Kauffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emmanuel Finch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Kauffman was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Emmanuel Finch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tallahassee Yesterday FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-3. Tallahassee Yesterday FC's Johnathan Stubbs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Landon Nugent in the 94th minute of play. Many of Natchez AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Natchez AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Tallahassee Yesterday FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
