Shayne Witherspoon made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Peter Björnberg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Raritan getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Palmer Cole hit a great ball. Peter Björnberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Shayne Witherspoon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Raritan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Peter Björnberg scored to the left of an out of position Shayne Witherspoon, making the score, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Peter Björnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shayne Witherspoon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Shayne Witherspoon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Björnberg in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shayne Witherspoon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Raritan's goalkeeper Shayne Witherspoon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Björnberg. In the 45th minute, Peter Björnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shayne Witherspoon was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Raritan defense, Peter Björnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shayne Witherspoon. The Raritan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shayne Witherspoon should have stopped the shot. Peter Björnberg scored 8-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shayne Witherspoon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 60 minutes, Palmer Cole mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raritan and the Alaska Anchorage FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Palmer Cole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Björnberg took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shayne Witherspoon. Shayne Witherspoon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 68th minute, Peter Björnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shayne Witherspoon was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Shayne Witherspoon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Björnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Björnberg scored 11-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Shayne Witherspoon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peter Björnberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shayne Witherspoon having to make a save. Shayne Witherspoon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Björnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Palmer Cole in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alaska Anchorage FC's Daron Watts. Peter Björnberg took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shayne Witherspoon. Shayne Witherspoon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. When the referee ended the match the Alaska Anchorage FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
