Spectators: 8133 (Terracing: 6101, Seating: 1871, VIP seats: 161) Cookeville's Norman Drake started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Peter Björnberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cookeville's Andy Neff. Andy Neff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cookeville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Peter Björnberg scored to the left of an out of position Andy Neff, making the score, 2-0. Carlo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Alaska Anchorage FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gerard Longoria hit a great ball. Andy Neff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Björnberg went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Björnberg got free with Andy Neff in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cookeville's Andy Neff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Björnberg in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Peter Björnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Neff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Björnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andy Neff made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Peter Björnberg sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Peter Björnberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cookeville's Andy Neff. Andy Neff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Carlo Marin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cookeville's protests and gave Carlo Marin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Carlo Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cookeville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Peter Björnberg scored to the left of an out of position Andy Neff, making the score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The audience was convinced that Peter Björnberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andy Neff was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 58th minute Peter Björnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Neff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Alaska Anchorage FC's Peter Björnberg made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andy Neff was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Peter Björnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Cookeville's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Björnberg came free, but Andy Neff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Neff came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Alaska Anchorage FC's Rudolf Pham. But to his dismay, Rudolf Pham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Cookeville defense, Peter Björnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Neff. The Cookeville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Neff should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute Rudolf Pham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Neff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaska Anchorage FC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Cookeville's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Houston Guy took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rudolf Pham heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Rudolf Pham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rudolf Pham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Peter Björnberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Neff. Cookeville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Björnberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Peter Björnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Cookeville's Carlo Marin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Rudolf Pham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Neff. Cookeville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudolf Pham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0.
