Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Johnny Benoit charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Benoit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Drumright AFC's Johnny Benoit got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Drumright AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Root came free, but D.J. Annan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drumright AFC's Darin Cahill got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lanny Melton charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lanny Melton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Kenner got a freekick which was hit by Lanny Melton. Darin Cahill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Glen Sadler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Sadler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordan Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jordan Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glen Sadler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordan Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 21 minutes of play, Drumright AFC's Darin Cahill made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glen Sadler was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Jarrett got free with D.J. Annan in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glen Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Rivas in the 33rd minute of play. Jordan Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Glen Sadler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Rivas in the 40th minute of play. Kenneth Whalen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darin Cahill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johnny Benoit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Glen Sadler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordan Rivas got free with Glen Sadler in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Johnny Benoit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnny Benoit kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darin Cahill during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. D.J. Annan came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Kenner's Jamar Shaw. But to his dismay, Jamar Shaw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristobal Root fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Annan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Darin Cahill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glen Sadler was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 71 played minutes Kenner got a freekick which was hit by Thaddeus Kessler. Kenner's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Darin Cahill 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 77 minutes into the match, Kenner's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Cahill came free, but Glen Sadler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. D.J. Annan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Glen Sadler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Cahill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordan Rivas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Glen Sadler came out and tried to block the shot, but Jordan Rivas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 85th minute. If Darin Cahill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Kenner supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Drumright AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Drumright AFC.
