Spectators: 5060 (Terracing: 4020, Seating: 1020, VIP seats: 20) Buna's Tom Tobin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Buna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristopher Layton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Truman Rowland in the 6th minute of play forced Buna's goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scotty Rasmussen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamal Rector, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meltics Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buna the free kick. Abraham Keller hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Jamal Rector shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scotty Rasmussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Meltics Fc's Raymond Mullen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Scotty Rasmussen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Buna getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kristopher Layton hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Raymond Mullen made a precise shot to the right of Scotty Rasmussen. Buna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Meltics Fc booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Riddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Mullen made a kick off. Collin Bonds was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Collin Bonds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scotty Rasmussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Werner in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Meltics Fc booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Magee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meltics Fc's Truman Rowland got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Rector in the 61st minute of play forced Buna's goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickey Ferguson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Theodore Carr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Tobin in the 68th minute of play. Meltics Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamal Rector was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Scotty Rasmussen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
