When Marcos Crenshaw came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kapiolani FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Crenshaw couldn't finish the play. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Michel in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Mount Shasta's Daryl Dent made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vance Byrne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alonso Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vance Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonso Oakley scored 3-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vance Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The wind increased when Daryl Dent made the kick off in the second half.
