Spectators: 5060 (Terracing: 4020, Seating: 1020, VIP seats: 20) Tom Tobin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the game, Kerry Agoos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Scotty Rasmussen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Scotty Rasmussen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thurman Cash, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Geoff Lake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Power Soccer Best Club the free kick. A collision led to Buna getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Geoff Lake hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes, Power Soccer Best Club's Mark Griffin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Power Soccer Best Club reached it. With a little luck, Power Soccer Best Club's Ken Givens got control of the ball when Wally Wilkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Buna's Scotty Rasmussen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thurman Cash in the 21st minute of play. Wally Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Givens having to interfere. Rico Ferrell kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Buna getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Collin Bonds hit a great ball. Tom Tobin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 38th playminute. Scotty Rasmussen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolland Pike, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Agoos in the 47th minute of play forced Buna's goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kerry Agoos to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Kerry Agoos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Scotty Rasmussen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute of the match Geoff Lake sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ken Givens skillfully saved the ball. Ken Givens came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Buna's Tom Tobin. But to his dismay, Tom Tobin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Wally Wilkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolland Pike kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tom Tobin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ken Givens was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, Buna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Humphrey to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Buna booed when Power Soccer Best Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Griffin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scotty Rasmussen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolland Pike in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Buna's Scotty Rasmussen got control of the ball when Wilber Eastman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rolland Pike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
