Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tom Tobin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 played minutes Buna got a freekick which was hit by Garry Whitfield. Scotty Rasmussen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randall Scruggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scotty Rasmussen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allen Delgado in the 10th minute. Giovanni Parks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Scotty Rasmussen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wally Wilkins kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Valdosta's Giovanni Parks in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute, Tom Tobin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Buna's Collin Bonds got a free kick in the 31st minute. A hard shot by Randall Scruggs from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Scotty Rasmussen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Allen Delgado came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Scotty Rasmussen could save by the left post. With 37 minutes on the clock, Fletcher Finney commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 37 minutes into the game, one of Buna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Buna:s Scotty Rasmussen showed great skill when he stopped Randall Scruggs:s penalty. 42 minutes into the match, Allen Delgado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Buna's Scotty Rasmussen. Scotty Rasmussen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Allen Delgado made a precise shot to the right of Scotty Rasmussen. Buna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Valdosta booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Magee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scotty Rasmussen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allen Delgado in the 61st minute of play. Scotty Rasmussen came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Valdosta's Randall Scruggs. But to his dismay, Randall Scruggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Buna getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bryan Magee hit a great ball. Tom Tobin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudley Lovett having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Allen Delgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valdosta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Tom Tobin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Buna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Tobin couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes, Allen Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdosta and the Buna players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allen Delgado in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Scotty Rasmussen saved Buna from getting behind. Scotty Rasmussen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Parks, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Cooke in the 95th minute of play forced Buna's goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
