After a rather tough play, Vernon Hills's Quintin Burrell got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to CARCAMO FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jessie Rodriguez hit a great ball. Fabrício Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Lowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Vernon Hills's Garth Eason got control of the ball when Reyes Zimmerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jessie Rodriguez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Garth Eason skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, Vernon Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Darnell came free, but Garth Eason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Lowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Abreu having to interfere. Fabrício Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garth Eason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes Zimmerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Vernon Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Reyes Zimmerman came free, but Garth Eason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CARCAMO FC's Fabrício Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Carmona in the 28th minute of play. CARCAMO FC's Reyes Zimmerman got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jessie Rodriguez took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garth Eason. Garth Eason dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rafal Jazowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clint Washburn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garth Eason. Vernon Hills's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jessie Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garth Eason having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Reyes Zimmerman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Garth Eason. Reyes Zimmerman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todd Carmona to make the kick off. Garth Eason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Zimmerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Darnell in the 54th minute of play forced Vernon Hills's goalkeeper Garth Eason to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Rafal Jazowski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vernon Hills's Garth Eason. Garth Eason was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabrício Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wade Powell in the 63rd minute. If Roger Darnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Moran hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a little luck, CARCAMO FC's Fabrício Abreu got control of the ball when Elias Lowe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wade Powell charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wade Powell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vernon Hills getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wade Powell hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Rafal Jazowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Eason saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garth Eason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Zimmerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Reyes Zimmerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. CARCAMO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reyes Zimmerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garth Eason breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrício Abreu made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Elias Lowe sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CARCAMO FC had won after a very even match.
