Spectators: 5060 (Terracing: 4020, Seating: 1020, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tom Tobin kicked off to start the match. Scotty Rasmussen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Christie in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Marcos Crenshaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scotty Rasmussen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Buna got a freekick which was hit by Kristopher Layton. After 12 played minutes Buna got a freekick which was hit by Tom Tobin. Sid Hamby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Vance Byrne made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Christie in the 19th minute of play forced Buna's goalkeeper Scotty Rasmussen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kapiolani FC booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Wilkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Sid Hamby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Buna's Wally Wilkins got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Marcos Crenshaw had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scotty Rasmussen. Buna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Crenshaw was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Scotty Rasmussen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Christie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kapiolani FC booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Lake didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play Buna's Geoff Lake was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Geoff Lake hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Christie to strike the kick off in the second half. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wally Wilkins in the 54th minute of the match. When Kristopher Layton fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buna's protests and gave Kristopher Layton a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kapiolani FC booed when Buna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristopher Layton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Fletcher Finney made a precise shot to the right of Vance Byrne. Kapiolani FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A nice corner shot did that Marcos Crenshaw got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Scotty Rasmussen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rdth minute of the game Dario Leon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Kapiolani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wally Wilkins came free, but Vance Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vance Byrne having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Kapiolani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carson Whitt to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Tom Tobin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vance Byrne was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Buna were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kapiolani FC to leave the ground with a draw.
