Vance Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Carmona in the 12th minute of play. Vance Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Carmona in the 19th minute of play. Vernon Hills's Garth Eason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Christie in the 23rd minute of play. Vernon Hills's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Orlando Christie scored to the left of an out of position Garth Eason, making the score, 1-1. If Marcos Crenshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vance Byrne came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Vernon Hills's Wade Powell. But to his dismay, Wade Powell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a little luck, Vernon Hills's Garth Eason got control of the ball when Marcos Crenshaw tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Lowe in the 42nd minute of play forced Kapiolani FC's goalkeeper Vance Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Vance Byrne made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Wade Powell sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Kapiolani FC's goalkeeper Vance Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brandon Moran. In the 60th minute Todd Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vance Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kapiolani FC booed when Vernon Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-2 became the score in the 64th minute when Marcos Crenshaw elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Wade Powell could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Vance Byrne however easily saved by the left post. Garrett Rutledge kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Todd Carmona had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of Vernon Hills booed when Kapiolani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carson Whitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Kapiolani FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Vernon Hills's Tad Jamison got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Waters in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Tomas Waters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vance Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Vernon Hills's Tomas Waters ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vance Byrne. Vance Byrne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Waters in the 94th minute of play.
