Garth Eason didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bardstown FC's Giovanni Michel shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Bardstown FC's Mervin Glass played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Carmona in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Bardstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Carmona came free, but Mervin Glass reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Eason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Dent, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Giovanni Michel scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garth Eason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mervin Glass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Carmona in the 45th minute of play. Mervin Glass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Carmona in the 47th minute of the match. The Vernon Hills players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bardstown FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Todd Carmona was the one to do the kick off. After 80 played minutes, Vernon Hills's Brandon Moran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mervin Glass came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vernon Hills reached it. In the 86th match minute, Vernon Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willis Madden to maneuver through the defense. Garth Eason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daryl Dent in the 88th minute of play. Daryl Dent received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Garth Eason came out and tried to block the shot, but Daryl Dent slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 92nd minute.
