Sal Carbajal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Logan Alvaro in the 20th minute. Cory Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olin Izturis having to interfere. Waylon Fernandez made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kraken AFC's Bronson Frank. Olin Izturis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ty Sweet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, one of New York Black Eagles FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New York Black Eagles FC. Logan Alvaro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 97th match minute, New York Black Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Jeffries to maneuver through the defense. The Kraken AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. New York Black Eagles FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
