Caleb Gallagher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danial Vega in the 3rd minute. Rafael Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Fernandez in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Felipe Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Valle. D.C. United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Scott Blue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Caleb Gallagher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Danial Vega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SHEBA FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Walmir Fernandez hit a great ball. Jose Irizarry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danial Vega's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caleb Gallagher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Danial Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The D.C. United fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when D.C. United's Danial Vega looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 36 minutes into the match, D.C. United's goal looked a bit too open when Gláuber Fernandez came free, but Rafael Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Danial Vega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Caleb Gallagher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41st play minutes Danial Vega shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Caleb Gallagher and just under the crossbar into goal.

The wind increased when Gláuber Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Federico Darnell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. D.C. United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SHEBA FC the free kick. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, SHEBA FC's Freddie Villalobos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rafael Valle. Scott Blue struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Caleb Gallagher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for D.C. United. In the 68th minute, Randolph Call hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Walton Blount sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caleb Gallagher skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Blue in the 71st minute of play forced SHEBA FC's goalkeeper Caleb Gallagher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes SHEBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Bradly Guinn. After 80 played minutes, D.C. United's Walton Blount shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caleb Gallagher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in D.C. United reached it. When Bradly Guinn was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Bradly Guinn kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Caleb Gallagher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scott Blue in the 87th minute of the match. Felipe Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Felipe Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Valle having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
