Elvis Seymour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lincoln Herbert in the 3rd minute of the match. Elvis Seymour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Bonds in the 4th minute of play. Elvis Seymour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dave Higgins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jose Longoria made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lincoln Herbert during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cypress getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lincoln Herbert hit a great ball. Jose Longoria made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Tuan LeBlanc sent off a good shot on target. Cypress's Jose Longoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Higgins in the 13th minute of play. Kayacan Koçarslan charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kayacan Koçarslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dyer FC booed when Cypress was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayacan Koçarslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasey Bernier scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Longoria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvis Seymour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bonds, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Roger Bonds who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dyer FC's Elvis Seymour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cypress getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hugo Ibarra hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, Cypress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Herbert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Mo Yong in the 28th minute of play forced Dyer FC's goalkeeper Elvis Seymour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cypress getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Raymundo Haas hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Chu Mo Yong notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dyer FC's Elvis Seymour. Elvis Seymour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Bonds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Chu Mo Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Seymour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Dyer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Mo Yong came free, but Elvis Seymour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Bonds to make the kick off. Roger Bonds came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elvis Seymour could save by the left post. During the 54th minute of the match Lincoln Herbert completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lincoln Herbert a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 55th match minute, Cypress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Herbert to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Cypress's Kayacan Koçarslan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvis Seymour made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Dyer FC's zone, Chu Mo Yong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvis Seymour came out of the goal and Chu Mo Yong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cypress booed when Dyer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Higgins didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chu Mo Yong in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvis Seymour saved Dyer FC from getting behind. Roger Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Elvis Seymour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Longoria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan LeBlanc in the 71st minute of the match. Eelco ter Averst kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Scott Winters sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Longoria skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Cypress getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Raymundo Haas hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Dyer FC's goalkeeper Elvis Seymour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Bonds. The crowd rose to their feet as Chu Mo Yong kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elvis Seymour. That made the score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. When Dyer FC's Tuan LeBlanc in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cypress's goalie prevented a goal. Elvis Seymour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Dyer FC booed when Cypress was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berat Taybars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dyer FC's Dave Higgins got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Cypress could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dyer FC throughout the match.
