The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Del Carrington struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Tyler Sanchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alden. A collision led to Peachtree City AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Abraham Hewitt hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Alden's Del Carrington nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tyler Sanchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Alden's Troy Smiley got a free kick in the 14th minute. Damian Robbins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Del Carrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Sanchez having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Alden's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Robbins came free, but Quinton Sewell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Alden got a freekick which was hit by Abe Bellamy. Johnson Hilton hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Del Carrington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Del Carrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Sanchez having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Abe Bellamy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peachtree City AFC the free kick. A collision led to Alden getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Abe Bellamy hit a great ball. Duke Hall struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Quinton Sewell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Alden's Quinton Sewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Robbins in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Robbins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peachtree City AFC's goalkeeper Tyler Sanchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Quentin Belanger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quinton Sewell made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Duke Hall sent off a good shot on target. Alden's Quinton Sewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Robbins in the 62nd minute of play. Duke Hall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Alden's zone, Damian Robbins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinton Sewell came out of the goal and Damian Robbins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes, Rubin Mosher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alden and the Peachtree City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Duke Hall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Alden's Quinton Sewell got control of the ball when Damian Robbins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Del Carrington kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Quinton Sewell stood somewhat misplaced when Duke Hall came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
