Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dave Higgins started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Miranda in the 3rd minute of play forced Dyer FC's goalkeeper Elvis Seymour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 3 minutes, Kasey Bernier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dyer FC and the MARBLE SYSTEMS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dyer FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kasey Bernier hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Dyer FC's Dave Higgins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 14th minute Dave Higgins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Shipley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Shipley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Higgins, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. MARBLE SYSTEMS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dave Higgins 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Elvis Seymour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Ruiz in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Art Gale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colby Gold charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Colby Gold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Dyer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colby Gold to maneuver through the defense. MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bernardo Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Dyer FC's zone, Bernardo Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvis Seymour came out of the goal and Bernardo Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Ruiz in the 52nd minute of play forced Dyer FC's goalkeeper Elvis Seymour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dyer FC's Elvis Seymour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Dyer FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Dyer FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Scottie Shearer hit a great ball. Bernardo Mirandas short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Elvis Seymour to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bob Shipley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Milton in the 63rd minute of play. When Gerard Milton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bob Shipley was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bob Shipley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuan LeBlanc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Dyer FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MARBLE SYSTEMS:s goal. Elvis Seymour went to the wrong direction when Raymond Ruiz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Bernardo Miranda let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 76th minute shot 2-2 at rihgt post. 85 minutes into the match, Tuan LeBlanc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bob Shipley. MARBLE SYSTEMS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuan LeBlanc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After some careless play in the MARBLE SYSTEMS defense, Dave Higgins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Shipley. The MARBLE SYSTEMS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Shipley should have stopped the shot. Bob Shipley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Milton, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Dyer FC could leave the field as winners, despite MARBLE SYSTEMS having more of the ball for most of the match.
