Brainerd FC's Alex Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Robbins in the 24th minute of play. Tyler Sanchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Cornelius, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tyler Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Stahl in the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Arnoldo Stahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brainerd FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Stahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Peachtree City AFC's zone, Luis Cornelius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyler Sanchez came out of the goal and Luis Cornelius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brainerd FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
