After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kasey Bernier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dyer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasey Bernier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyler Sanchez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tyler Sanchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuan LeBlanc, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Higgins in the 34th minute of play forced Peachtree City AFC's goalkeeper Tyler Sanchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Colby Gold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Bruce Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Scott Winters from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Tyler Sanchez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Dave Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tuan LeBlanc managed to get in a good position for a shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dyer FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
