With a little luck, Brainerd FC's Alex Pearson got control of the ball when Kasey Amos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palos Verdes Estates's Tyler Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Cornelius in the 5th minute of play. Tyler Drummond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Cornelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the match, Zack Bentley got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Pearson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 12th minute Sandy Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pearson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyler Drummond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Stahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandy Warren in the 21st minute of play forced Brainerd FC's goalkeeper Alex Pearson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Zack Bentley made a precise shot to the right of Alex Pearson. Brainerd FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zack Bentley made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 28thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Alex Pearson would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Sandy Warren came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Palos Verdes Estates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandy Warren couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Brainerd FC's goalkeeper Alex Pearson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Bentley. In the 42nd minute, Palos Verdes Estates's Zack Bentley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Pearson. Alex Pearson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Tyler Drummond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Stahl in the 46th minute of the match. Alex Pearson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zack Bentley in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Cornelius to strike the kick off in the second half. Tyler Drummond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Cornelius in the 51st minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, Palos Verdes Estates's Zack Bentley made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Pearson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vincent Weiss kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Zack Bentley hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palos Verdes Estates's zone, Luis Cornelius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyler Drummond came out of the goal and Luis Cornelius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Palos Verdes Estates's Tyler Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Weiss in the 64th minute of play. Alex Pearson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Bentley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Palos Verdes Estates got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Amos. 74 minutes into the match, Palos Verdes Estates's goalkeeper Tyler Drummond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Stahl. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Stahl got free with Tyler Drummond in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tyler Drummond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Weiss in the 79th minute of play. After 81 minutes Palos Verdes Estates's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Lockhart who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Stahl got free with Tyler Drummond in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandy Warren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Palos Verdes Estates's Zack Bentley in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brainerd FC's goalie prevented a goal. Palos Verdes Estates's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
