Roger Bonds received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bryce Witherspoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Mo Yong in the 81st minute of play forced Ingram's goalkeeper Bryce Witherspoon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cypress played a much better game than Ingram and deserved their victory. The Ingram players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
