Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dave Higgins made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Cypress's Raymundo Haas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Blaine Merchant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cypress's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dyer FC the free kick. Blaine Merchant kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jose Longoria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Higgins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chu Mo Yong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Seymour having to interfere. Jose Longoria came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Dyer FC's Gerard Milton. But to his dismay, Gerard Milton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Cypress was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Daley to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Tuan LeBlanc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Longoria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cypress's Jose Longoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan LeBlanc in the 21st minute of play. When Blaine Merchant was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Blaine Merchant kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jose Longoria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Higgins in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Cypress booed when Dyer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasey Bernier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Bonds came free in the 32nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Elvis Seymour, but to the joy of Dyer FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 37th minute, Kasey Bernier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Bonds came free in the 40th minute and tried to tip the ball over Elvis Seymour, but to the joy of Dyer FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 44th minute Dave Higgins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Longoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After 51 minutes, Chu Mo Yong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cypress and the Dyer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cypress's Chu Mo Yong got a free kick in the 51st minute. Roger Bonds's late challenge caught a Dyer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Bonds helped the player get up and apologised. 54 minutes into the match, Dyer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chu Mo Yong came free, but Elvis Seymour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cypress booed when Dyer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasey Bernier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvis Seymour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chu Mo Yong in the 65th minute of play. During the 70th minute of the match Roger Bonds completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Roger Bonds a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 70th minute, Roger Bonds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cypress booed when Dyer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Milton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dave Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jose Longoria managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Dyer FC's Scottie Shearer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eelco ter Averst lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 81st minute, one of Cypress:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cypress. The score was 0-3 after a penalty in the 83rd minute, where Dyer FC:s Scott Winters tricked Cypress:s Jose Longoria with a difficult ball by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kayacan Koçarslan in the 86th minute of play forced Dyer FC's goalkeeper Elvis Seymour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chu Mo Yong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvis Seymour having to interfere. The excitement rose when Cypress's Chu Mo Yong after 91 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Dyer FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-3. 98 minutes into the match, Dave Higgins dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jose Longoria, 1-4. Dyer FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cypress's much stronger midfield.
