Owen Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude De La Cruz in the 5th minute of play. Dudley Shah kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moses Marshall during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, one of Angeles norteños:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Angeles norteños. Merrill Justice hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Nereo Loreto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Owen Baker was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Miami Gators's Owen Baker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Miami Gators from getting a goal against them. In the 31stth minute of the game Milo Winn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angeles norteños's Mao Peng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudley Shah during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Angeles norteños got a freekick which was hit by Dudley Shah. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremy Hackett during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Miami Gators's Jeremy Hackett got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th match minute, Miami Gators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Workman to maneuver through the defense. Merrill Justice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Peng having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Knapp in the 43rd minute of play forced Angeles norteños's goalkeeper Mao Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Angeles norteños's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Justice came free, but Mao Peng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Angeles norteños's Son Harvey was substituted for Moses Marshall. Thanh Sullivan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Owen Baker came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Angeles norteños's Claude De La Cruz. But to his dismay, Claude De La Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Loreto in the 66th minute of play forced Miami Gators's goalkeeper Owen Baker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoros Stavroulis struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Owen Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angeles norteños. Owen Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoros Stavroulis in the 73rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Angeles norteños's corner Stefan Lackey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Owen Baker quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Loreto in the 82nd minute of play forced Miami Gators's goalkeeper Owen Baker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Owen Baker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoros Stavroulis in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Angeles norteños's Nereo Loreto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Owen Baker was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 89 in the game by Milo Winn from a close distance when the talented Mao Peng managed to make a qualified save. Angeles norteños's players were relieved. In the 90th minute, Phillip Tapia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Owen Baker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Stefano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angeles norteños's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
