Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 158) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when King Alford got the match started through his kick off. Lincroft's Art Randall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Eddy in the 7th minute of play. Art Randall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Dozier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Art Randall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Eddy in the 22nd minute of play. If King Alford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Eddy in the 34th minute of play forced Lincroft's goalkeeper Art Randall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Brandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryant Weir in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Lincroft's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Eddy came free, but Art Randall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Weston charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Weston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robert Eddy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Billy Jenkins made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lincroft's goalkeeper Art Randall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Eddy. Lincroft's Art Randall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Saldana in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lincroft! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Childersburg FC's Kraig Hufnagel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Art Randall. A hard shot by Ronald Connolly from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Art Randall's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Art Randall was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milton Saldana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. Pascal Alston hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Pascal Alston scored 1-5 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Art Randall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute of the match, Billy Jenkins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Art Randall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 88 minutes into the match, Lincroft's goalkeeper Art Randall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Eddy. Art Randall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Jenkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Robert Eddy came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Childersburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Eddy couldn't finish the play. If Billy Jenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Art Randall was a little too slow when Billy Jenkins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Childersburg FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
