Sheldon Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucas Slaughter came out and tried to block the shot, but Sheldon Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 78th minute. In the 88th minute, Sheldon Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Trent in the 91st minute of the match. Sheldon Rodrigues came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucas Slaughter could save by the left post. Colonie FC played a much better game than Virginia Cyclones and deserved their victory. The Virginia Cyclones players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
