With a couple of smart ball manuevers Byron Samuel in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Winston Ladner saved livermore sc from getting behind. A collision led to livermore sc getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Leon Warren hit a great ball. Jon Beyer was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Edgardo Bowser capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Bowser really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 17th minute Mike Shaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winston Ladner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Byron Samuel in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winston Ladner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of livermore sc booed when Bonne Terre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bonne Terre defense, Ernie Braswell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Beyer. The Bonne Terre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Beyer should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Winston Ladner was a little too slow when Byron Kilgore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-4. When Ernie Braswell fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored livermore sc's protests and gave Ernie Braswell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to livermore sc getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Warren in the 63rd minute of play forced Bonne Terre's goalkeeper Jon Beyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mike Shaw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonne Terre's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Shaw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winston Ladner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, livermore sc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelly Emerson to maneuver through the defense. Bonne Terre's Jon Beyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Bowser in the 73rd minute of play. Byron Samuel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Winston Ladner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Byron Samuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Winston Ladner made a huge save. With a little luck, livermore sc's Winston Ladner got control of the ball when Mike Shaw tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Shaw in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Byron Kilgore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Winston Ladner having to make a save. With his leg Winston Ladner managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Bonne Terre's Cameron Hadley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes into the match, livermore sc's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Shaw came free, but Winston Ladner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Winston Ladner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Shaw in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Byron Samuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Winston Ladner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Byron Kilgore in the 95th minute of play.
