With an all-out effort, AHORA O NUNCA S.Y.D's Bill Burger threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivan Arhenius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bill Burger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Arhenius in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Phoenix Suns Atletic defense, Ivan Arhenius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Burger. The Phoenix Suns Atletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Burger should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Ben Huntley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Urmasu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ivan Arhenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. AHORA O NUNCA S.Y.D's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Arhenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bill Burger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Blair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Urmasu having to make a save. Randall Ledford's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bill Burger firmly grabbed it by the left post. Randall Ledford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dallas Segura came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AHORA O NUNCA S.Y.D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dallas Segura couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match, Randall Ledford got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bill Burger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Randall Ledford's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bill Burger firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Arhenius in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Burger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Blair charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Blair the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Gustavo Blair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of AHORA O NUNCA S.Y.D booed when Phoenix Suns Atletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levi Kent didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ivan Arhenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Arhenius was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Joel Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicu Urmasu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ben Huntley. Bill Burger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randall Ledford, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Dallas Segura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bill Burger was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. AHORA O NUNCA S.Y.D's Randall Ledford got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Phoenix Suns Atletic got a freekick which was hit by Levi Kent. 69 minutes into the match, Phoenix Suns Atletic's goal looked a bit too open when Randall Ledford came free, but Bill Burger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Ivan Arhenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Burger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Suns Atletic's Murray Teague got a free kick in the 74th minute. Bill Burger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Arhenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Phoenix Suns Atletic's goal looked a bit too open when Dallas Segura came free, but Bill Burger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
