Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roland Fair kicked off to start the match. Monty Pepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryce McGowan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Octavio Parker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Parker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Monty Pepper came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by US Army's Marshall Titus. But to his dismay, Marshall Titus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 14 played minutes INTER MIAMI got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Fields. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Parker in the 18th minute of play forced INTER MIAMI's goalkeeper Monty Pepper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Titus in the 19th minute of play. Monty Pepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryce McGowan in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, US Army's Octavio Parker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monty Pepper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marshall Titus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monty Pepper having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, US Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasey Poole to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Mohr in the 26th minute of play forced US Army's goalkeeper Brant Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes US Army got a freekick which was hit by Vali Miclovan. After 28 minutes, Hugo Mohr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER MIAMI and the US Army players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of US Army booed when INTER MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Mohr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monty Pepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Parker in the 31st minute of the match. Monty Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Titus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, US Army's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Fair came free, but Brant Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 35th minute of the match Hugo Mohr completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hugo Mohr a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Roland Fair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Brant Benson made a huge save. A collision led to INTER MIAMI getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ronny Cummins hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Bryce McGowan made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, US Army's Marshall Titus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper got control of the ball when Bryce McGowan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute Marshall Titus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Pepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Parker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Parker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Monty Pepper came out and tried to block the shot, but Octavio Parker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Octavio Parker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Monty Pepper, 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Roland Fair managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER MIAMI's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Fair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brant Benson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brant Benson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Fair went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Bryce McGowan came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Monty Pepper could save by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Brad Murdock put in a rough tackle. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for US Army! Joaquin Pineda charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Pineda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of INTER MIAMI booed when US Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Pineda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Robby Fairchild was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER MIAMI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave US Army the free kick. Robby Fairchild kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Octavio Parker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvin Fields kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. US Army's Kasey Poole got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
