Brant Benson had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Dieguinho do Vale's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 6 minutes into the match, US Army's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Lord came free, but Brant Benson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Lord in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brant Benson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jaime Stubbs kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Joaquin Pineda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Oliver skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute Marshall Titus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Oliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Mechanical Orange FC's Esteban Lord ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brant Benson. Brant Benson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Lord in the 28th minute of play forced US Army's goalkeeper Brant Benson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Esteban Lord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Lord took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brant Benson. Brant Benson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 44 minutes into the game, US Army's Octavio Parker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacob Oliver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Samuel Wetzel fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mechanical Orange FC's protests and gave Samuel Wetzel a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Wetzel kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. When Joaquin Pineda fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored US Army's protests and gave Joaquin Pineda a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes US Army got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Pineda. US Army's Brant Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho do Vale in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Mechanical Orange FC booed when US Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Parker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brant Benson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Lord in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Mechanical Orange FC got a freekick which was hit by Josiah Casey. Mechanical Orange FC's James Jennings was substituted for Fance Salisbury. In the 72nd match minute, Mechanical Orange FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josiah Casey to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes in the game Kasey Poole did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Porter Hanna. A collision led to Mechanical Orange FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Josiah Casey hit a great ball. Esteban Lord took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brant Benson. Brant Benson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Brant Benson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Lord's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. US Army's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
