Zane MacFarland charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Blue Rock F.C.'s Zane MacFarland got a free kick in the 10th minute. Anton Meertens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Beard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Jefferson Terra had several of the Blue Rock F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ronny Beard as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Meertens got free with Ronny Beard in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jefferson Terra had several of the Blue Rock F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Ronny Beard as he didn't even see the shot coming. Adolfo Mendez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Ortle having to make a save. Blue Rock F.C.'s Ronny Beard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Terra in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Blue Rock F.C.'s Ronny Beard got control of the ball when Jefferson Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geoff Mullen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Jefferson Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Beard was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Mendez was the one to do the kick off. Adolfo Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 55 minutes on the clock, Norman Robison commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Blue Rock F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Mendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronny Beard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Czekaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyrus Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Rudolf Baker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Ortle made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Adolfo Mendez sent off a good shot on target. When Adolfo Mendez came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Blue Rock F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Mendez couldn't finish the play.
