Monty Pepper came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Inmortales FC's Christer Johnsson. But to his dismay, Christer Johnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Weston Lackey during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the match, Christer Johnsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christer Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Monty Pepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Johnsson in the 18th minute of play. Monty Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Johnsson took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 26 minutes into the game, Inmortales FC's Christer Johnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monty Pepper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Monty Pepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Johnsson in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Christer Johnsson made a precise shot to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Christer Johnsson took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 41st minute, Christer Johnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Christer Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Monty Pepper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Fair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Christer Johnsson notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper. Weston Lackey made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hugo Mohr immediately put the ball in play. After 73 played minutes Ştefan Daimacă could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-12 into the left cross. In the 76th minute, Ştefan Daimacă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Monty Pepper. The goal made the score 0-13. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER MIAMI's goalkeeper Monty Pepper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kelly Jacobs scored 0-16 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Monty Pepper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
