With his leg Ronny Beard managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Mechanical Orange FC's Esteban Lord fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mechanical Orange FC's Fance Salisbury slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronny Beard. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. Josh Kemp kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. A hard shot by Dieguinho do Vale from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Ronny Beard's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fletcher Pritchett to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteban Lord might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Beard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Lord ran back to his position shaking his head. 64 minutes into the match, Mechanical Orange FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Baker came free, but Jacob Oliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 65th minute of the match Von Laird completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Von Laird a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Mechanical Orange FC's Von Laird got a free kick in the 68th minute. Dieguinho do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Mechanical Orange FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dieguinho do Vale hit a great ball. If Josh Kemp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Wetzel during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mechanical Orange FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Samuel Wetzel hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Clint Crabtree got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Cliff Reaves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechanical Orange FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Blue Rock F.C.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mechanical Orange FC had won, even though Blue Rock F.C. had held more of the ball.
