A very good chance for a goal. Conakry FC's Franco Crispino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Stacey Lefler in the 5 minute of the game. Jefferson Terra did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Bill Burger 7 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes Phoenix Suns Atletic got a freekick which was hit by Stacey Lefler. Jefferson Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Bill Burger made a huge save. With a little luck, Phoenix Suns Atletic's Bill Burger got control of the ball when Jefferson Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute Conakry FC were awarded a corner. Anton Meertens went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute, Fernan Pierres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Crispino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Burger having to interfere. Bill Burger made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jefferson Terra sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Suns Atletic's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Meertens was slow to take the kick. During this time Conakry FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jefferson Terra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bill Burger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute, Jefferson Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Phoenix Suns Atletic's Bill Burger got control of the ball when Jefferson Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gregory Meyers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Meertens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Burger having to interfere. Bill Burger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Meertens in the 35th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Garth Elkins in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Conakry FC's Gary Levine. In the 40th minute of the match, Jefferson Terra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bill Burger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 42 played minutes Phoenix Suns Atletic got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Moore. 43 minutes into the game, Kelly Hawkins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bill Burger. Kelly Hawkins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Hodge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Conakry FC's Franco Crispino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Burger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Conakry FC's Marian Czekaj was substituted for Anton Meertens. When Jefferson Terra came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Conakry FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Terra couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Conakry FC's Franco Crispino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Burger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Czekaj in the 75th minute of play forced Phoenix Suns Atletic's goalkeeper Bill Burger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Czekaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bill Burger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conakry FC's Oliver McCarthy was substituted for Fernan Pierres. Bill Burger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marian Czekaj went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Czekaj in the 85th minute of play forced Phoenix Suns Atletic's goalkeeper Bill Burger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the game Stacey Lefler made a throw-in which Romeo Hodge played forward. Conakry FC's Cyrus Bradley quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Garth Elkins, made in the 94th minute of the game. Cyrus Bradley scored 8-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bill Burger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Conakry FC were the better team. Conakry FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
