Jaime Stubbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mechanical Orange FC's goalkeeper Jacob Oliver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteban Lord's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvio Ortle firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Conakry FC's zone, Esteban Lord stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Ortle came out of the goal and Esteban Lord tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Lord to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Mike Padgett in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mechanical Orange FC's Von Laird. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Lord in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Ortle saved Conakry FC from getting behind. Silvio Ortle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Lord's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Lord in the 54th minute of play forced Conakry FC's goalkeeper Silvio Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Mechanical Orange FC got a corner. Conakry FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieguinho do Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. 58 minutes into the match, Esteban Lord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Ortle. Conakry FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Lord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, Mechanical Orange FC's Esteban Lord sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Ortle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Lord took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Ortle. Silvio Ortle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 69 minutes into the match, Esteban Lord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvio Ortle. Conakry FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Lord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Esteban Lord notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Conakry FC's Silvio Ortle. Silvio Ortle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Conakry FC's Cyrus Bradley was substituted for Jefferson Terra. The audience was convinced that Cliff Reaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Ortle was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
