After 4 minutes, Julio Rios made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC SLAVIA FL's Garrett McKinney tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Vicente Hilton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Garrett McKinney. Vicente Hilton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 10th minute Julio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett McKinney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Virgil Ragsdale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SLAVIA FL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgil Ragsdale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garrett McKinney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Garrett McKinney successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arden Hills's Ulryk Tscherner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Ragsdale in the 19th minute of play. Mohammed Hickman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulryk Tscherner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mohammed Hickman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulryk Tscherner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sung Herndon in the 21st minute of play. Ulryk Tscherner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Rush in the 24th minute of the match. FC SLAVIA FL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jess Calcagnini in the 25th minute. FC SLAVIA FL's Jess Calcagnini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ulryk Tscherner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 29 minutes into the game, Virgil Ragsdale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ulryk Tscherner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Garrett McKinney was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Vicente Hilton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Hilton really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 35th minute, Aurelio Feldman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Ragsdale in the 37th minute of play forced Arden Hills's goalkeeper Ulryk Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgil Ragsdale in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulryk Tscherner saved Arden Hills from getting behind. Ulryk Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Fuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Luk Lucky came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Garrett McKinney could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgil Ragsdale to strike the kick off in the second half. Hayden Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Julio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett McKinney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulryk Tscherner was a little too slow when Virgil Ragsdale got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Rios in the 70th minute of play forced FC SLAVIA FL's goalkeeper Garrett McKinney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garrett McKinney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Vicente Hilton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garrett McKinney was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Garrett McKinney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Hilton in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Vicente Hilton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SLAVIA FL's Garrett McKinney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The FC SLAVIA FL supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC SLAVIA FL would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
