Roy Souza came out of the goal and Ward Doran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Nolan Abernathy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roy Souza. Nolan Abernathy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 24th match minute, Club Int de Fútbol Miami was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Hollandsworth to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nolan Abernathy made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Nolan Abernathy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roy Souza was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Nolan Abernathy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roy Souza having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Abernathy in the 69th minute of play forced Club Int de Fútbol Miami's goalkeeper Roy Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Nolan Abernathy made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Club Int de Fútbol Miami's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nolan Abernathy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Golden Hills's Nolan Abernathy got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nolan Abernathy took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Souza. Roy Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Golden Hills walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
