Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brady Flynn got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Ţopescu in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Von Woodson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Von Woodson came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Quintin Redd. But to his dismay, Quintin Redd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With his leg Von Woodson managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Cosmos Soccer Club's Quintin Redd fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Von Woodson made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Quintin Redd sent off a good shot on target. When Cosmos Soccer Club's Ivan Ţopescu in 20 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Von Woodson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darin Brandt got free with Von Woodson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Von Woodson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Ţopescu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Nene Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cosmos Soccer Club:s goal. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Cosmos Soccer Club's Dominic Perez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Von Woodson. 38 minutes into the game, Cosmos Soccer Club's Quintin Redd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Von Woodson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Tommy Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Von Woodson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommy Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Dominic Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Cosmos Soccer Club's 姜永洲 in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Von Woodson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Nene Fc through an amazing save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 姜永洲 to make the kick off. 姜永洲 struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Von Woodson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmos Soccer Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Redd in the 54th minute of play forced Nene Fc's goalkeeper Von Woodson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Quintin Redd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Von Woodson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Von Woodson came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's 姜永洲. But to his dismay, 姜永洲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Quintin Redd might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Von Woodson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quintin Redd ran back to his position shaking his head. Von Woodson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin Redd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 姜永洲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Von Woodson came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's 姜永洲. But to his dismay, 姜永洲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Nene Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Church didn't get a good kick on the ball. Von Woodson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 姜永洲 in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Quintin Redd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosmos Soccer Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintin Redd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Von Woodson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominic Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Von Woodson having to make a save.
