In the 11th minute, Ding Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zackary Triplett in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jamel Ivy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Milo Schmitt made a precise shot to the right of Roy Souza. Club Int de Fútbol Miami's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jonas Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ding Mata in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Souza saved Club Int de Fútbol Miami from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Blade Coote managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitatea7 Cluj's supporters rose to their feet, but Blade Coote was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilmer Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roy Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th play minute Ding Mata came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roy Souza. 4-0. Wilmer Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Souza having to interfere. Ding Matas short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Roy Souza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jamel Ivy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Hollandsworth in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Jonas Alvarenga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roy Souza, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ding Mata was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Milo Schmitt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Alvarenga in the 54th minute of play forced Club Int de Fútbol Miami's goalkeeper Roy Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ding Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Club Int de Fútbol Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Ding Mata came free, but Roy Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Int de Fútbol Miami getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Blair Trimble hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ding Mata couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Ding Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Roy Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universitatea7 Cluj. Blade Coote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Universitatea7 Cluj booed when Club Int de Fútbol Miami was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Universitatea7 Cluj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Int de Fútbol Miami the free kick. Milo Schmitt kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Universitatea7 Cluj were the better team. Universitatea7 Cluj's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
