With a little luck, Ocean Park Beach FC's Evan Noble got control of the ball when Quintin Redd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Ţopescu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evan Noble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Douglas Foote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Bower in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Rob Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evan Noble breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ocean Park Beach FC booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Ţopescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Hudson do Nascimento, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 55 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Waldo Bean. The Dan Gheară was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ronald Aldridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dan Gheară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Forrest got free with Dan Gheară in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Dan Gheară managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Ocean Park Beach FC's Edgar Bower fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 89 minutes into the match, Ronald Aldridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Gheară. Cosmos Soccer Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Aldridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ocean Park Beach FC's Gregory Simpson was substituted for Ronald Aldridge. Evan Noble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin Redd in the 93rd minute of the match.
